In fact Charlie has a rare one of a kind semi spring tube Underwood for sale. In reality there are a few now and then but over all no not many and when found the prices are out of sight for real USGI receivers.

I See a really nice early NPM receiver on Gun Broker. It has a early Inland style Flip Sight on it.
Seller says it was refinished..... If so, I'd say it was nicely done.
I'd have to check, but do believe Inland sent some Flip sights for these early NPM's.

Here are results from a Gun Broker m1 carbine receiver search (you have to sift thru the listings to find just receivers) Some are barreled receivers:

I was watching that NPM this weekend back when it was just $400

I lost track of time, it didn't sell, & is now reposted at the higher price. Thank You

I have a complete Inland Carbine now. I was leaning towards a detachable spring tube design by one of these manufacturers...
