Soldiers of the 104th manning a Sturmgeschütz III with concrete armour, captured during the Battle of the Bulge. U.S. markings were added upon capture. The GI to the left is carrying a captured Germanicon StG 44

I wonder if this pic is the reason they armed Brad Pitt with one during the movie...I know a couple of you are jealous about owning the Germanicon armour...Cinders wants just one cartridge...please...

Zimmerit was a paste-like coating used on mid- and late-war German armored fighting vehicles during World War II. It was used to produce a hard layer covering the metal armor of the vehicle, providing enough separation that magnetically attached anti-tank mines would fail to stick to the vehicle, although Germanyicon was the only country to use magnetic anti-tank mines in numbers. Zimmerit was often left off late-war vehicles due to the unfounded concern that it could catch fire when hit.[1] It was developed by the German company Chemische Werke Zimmer & Co

Yes I would like a cartridge would be good.
They were a cramped vehicle especially for the driver and whilst a low profile easy to hide & hard to hit was a bonus the lack of a turret made it hard to track a target but in the TD role firing from cover the HV 75mm gun was lethal against the allied tanks.
