'Tonight my men and I have been through hell and back again, but the look on your faces when we let you out of the hall - we'd do it all again tomorrow.' Major Chris Keeble's words to Goose Green villagers on 29th May 1982 - 2 PARA

I'm proud to call these people my Countrymen. "Don't tread on me" isn't just something that's displayed to look good, it's a warning.
As long as the fight doesn't come in the early morning before The General has had a chance to sleep off the case of beer he drank the night before and has had time for coffee and a smoke.
@ 21:00 "Over the last few months several members have decided to leave Chris's chapter of the Three Percenters."
They leave because the Feds now have all the intel they need. That's what happened to the Hutaree, one of Michigans Militias.
The Militias are stronger when they don't seek the limelight and keep in the shadows.
I do enjoy seeing the '2 Step' performed at gun shows by the Feds vs Militia.
It doesn't feel that long ago that Norman Olsen was running the show. Related Groups would march thru the shows, like organized bikers, with their combat boots freshly buffed.
Now days you see the same guys just looking older but with fresh younger ex-military members in the ranks. No more camo, now with blue jeans and T shirts.
IMO their numbers have increased and are very active near my area.
All the while off in the distant corners are the 'Watchers'.. same guys gathering license plate numbers.
Had a visit years back from the FBI here at home. Few days earlier I had stopped in to check on a crippled up buddy who lives out in the country. Seems as though he'd had a couple guys he knew, stop by and stay a few nights. FBI had lots of questions for me, but I had no answers they needed. Found out later my buddy's 2 visitors would stop in when they had enough 'Work' lined up and would travel all over the States and do Basement Gunsmithing for their clients. Along with selling hard to find parts and accessories.
It is a small world........ Be careful out there, not all are what they appear to be.

The most effective groups are those with dedicated but 'invisible' members, ie; they blend in with the norms of polite society, keep their opinions amongst themselves, do not wear overt uniforms or T-shirts with 'mission statements'. In the final extreme they will be the most effective, outflanking the 'enemy' while they concentrate their resources on the obvious targets. The very best security is nobody knowing!
Excuse my ignorance, as a Brit, private militias are a bit of an alien concept for me.
I assume the right to form and operate a militia is enshrined in the Constitution?
Do the various Militias have any links to, or ever exercise with each other?
I have no clue about American Militias.
I will only add the historical comment that it was not uncommon 200 years ago for the landed gentry in Britainto raise private regiments fight in time of war. Hence: https://www.scotlandinfo.eu/europes-...l-highlanders/
It appears that many countries have a similar setup, where they feel let down or abandoned by their respective Governments to protect their residences, property or lives, especialy out in the boonies, and have the freedom to bear arms! Good Luck to them as long as they are not led by morans who have a different agenda!!
