Rear Sight Cover

I'm looking for a time frame or serial number frame for a rear sight cover. It has no indentations on the sides only across the top. I don't know if it is SA or WRA. According to Duffs book early WRA used sight covers without indented ribs and without a drawing number. Is early the first contract or early part of the first contract. Being the book is sixteen years old I'm hoping that someone has newer information.

Do you have a photo of the rear sight cover ? The SA flat rear sight covers have a mark near the front edge, this mark could be a letter or symbol, it is very small. Winchesters do not have this type of marking. I might have some photos of early WRA's.
