can anyone help me find the srs record for my krag

We will need the complete serial number to check the records. Only about 5% of serial numbers are in the SRS records.

3040 krag serial number 103384 if anyone could lookup the srs on it I would appreciate thankyou

Closest listed SRS numbers (to #103384) are model 1896 rifles, 50 below and 24 above yours.
The stamping on your receiver has to be model 1896 and not model 1898. Sometimes, "1896" is stamped deep and gets misread as "98". The receiver area 'cut' for the bolt handle is very different on the two actions. Model 1898 rifles started around #109000, in June, 1898.
Your Krag was manufactured around April to June, 1898.
