    We will need the complete serial number to check the records. Only about 5% of serial numbers are in the SRS records.

    Closest listed SRS numbers (to #103384) are model 1896 rifles, 50 below and 24 above yours.

    The stamping on your receiver has to be model 1896 and not model 1898. Sometimes, "1896" is stamped deep and gets misread as "98". The receiver area 'cut' for the bolt handle is very different on the two actions. Model 1898 rifles started around #109000, in June, 1898.

    Your Kragicon was manufactured around April to June, 1898.
