Men of the 80th "Blue Ridge" - Division, on their way back from the front, trudge through the war torn village of Wallendorf Germany. Wallendorf lies on the Sûre river, just across from Luxembourg, it was one of the 80th Divison crossing points on 2/7/45 .

The picture was taken by Charles Haacker, ACME War Pool Correspondnet on 2/24/45.
