A K-31 was on my bucket list as all of the ones the guys use at the club excel with accuracy and have a faster cycle time than the Lee Enfields but they have gone through the roof price wise of late.
I find them for 300-500€ here.
Still ok.
Nice target!

Edelweiss Arms has nice 1911 carbines for $400-$600.
$600+ in US these days. I picked up a 1911 for $400 a few months ago. Cabelas wants over $600 for theirs.
I have yet to get my K-31 to shoot well. I do have hope.
I have hope, I have a 308 Savage action with an XC custom barrel I finally found a bullet/powder it not just like but really likes down to 1/4 inch groups. I would guess I have 2000 round through it and it was heading for a plant stake.
note: I am not impressed with XC and I am sure not impressed with Apache who uses a lot of those barrels. The problem with a dual sourced barrel is you don't know if its the chambering /threading or the barrel itself.
