There are no great men, only great challenges that ordinary men are forced by circumstances to meet.
That little Jap tank took a direct HE hit from something. One side all blown out...

It looks like the whole column of Jap tanks were no match for what they were up against.

'Tonight my men and I have been through hell and back again, but the look on your faces when we let you out of the hall - we'd do it all again tomorrow.' Major Chris Keeble's words to Goose Green villagers on 29th May 1982 - 2 PARA
I'm looking at the set of tracks of tracks at 2 o'clock background as the grouser pattern looks like it's from a Sherman tank it was not unknown that the IJA troops would strap explosives to themselves and dive under tanks, the tanks the IJA fielded were inferior by western standards the armour was extremely thin with a small crew armed with a pop gun a Honey tank would more than be a match for a one on one, the M4 Sherman was in another class of its own. The IJA did however go to Germanylooking at a MkVI whether they had ambitions of ever building one was a bit late the horse had already bolted.
