Apparently the ROK's were quite the feared warriors....
Their were ROK Marines, and the ROK Tiger Division in Vietnam. I went through Tiger Divison's base camp during one of my
travels' in 1968. Their discipline rivaled that of the BritishArmy circa 1800. I witnessed one of their Sgt. Major's 'administer instant punishment' to a Corporal who thought he could pass by without saluting while the Sgt. Maj. was talking to a US sergeant from a nearby unit. Let's just say it was a minutes long arse-kicking session. They also did two, two hour long sessions of TKD in formation every day they weren't in the bush.
