    Removing 6.5 rear sight?

I want to remove the rear sight on a little 6.5 carbine but I'm not sure whether it has a screw or a pin, it appears to have a slotted screwdriver head.
    Any ideas?

There are numerous little 6.5 carbines. Knowing the type or showing some photos would be helpful.
