I’m new to this forum. I recently acquired what appears to be a NRA Sporter.
Serial# 1295580 (matching number electric pencil engraved on bolt)
Barrel date SA 6-28
Barrel gauge star mark present & number on barrel under stock is 2 lines: “B” over “1876”
Lyman 48 rear sight

I just picked up one of these not that far off from yours. Mine is SN 1285339.

Yours is also indeed a recorded sporter. Looks like it sold 4-15-29.
Mine sold 10-23-28.
