My wife and I have reached that stage where she doesn't really attempt to buy me anything anymore and I have free reign to pick up my own things. Since I'm into 50+ year old stuff you never know what you're going to find on any given day, probably for the best. My "Christmas Haul" so far has been a Polish WZ63 paratrooper helmet, a GermanModel 1927 mess kit dated 1937 and an Austrian ersatz bayonet yet to be delivered.
My "real" gifts most likely to consist of jerky, underwear and socks.
The best gift was last night when both daughters and their husbands along with my sole grandson came to the house and then we went out to eat before Christmas Eve service. This is our first Christmas with no children in the house Christmas morning.
Added a 1938 Holster for my 1934 Mauser pistol.Information
