    Coming along nicely.

Slowly but surely, it's getting there.

The backsights are fiddly to fit. The trunnion holes in the receiver have to be cleaned out, so we made a tool to do it. Now to fit the fore-end.

Just looking at your pic, are the rear sight retaining screws threaded into the sight or the receiver, or are they pins retained with little cross pins through the sight leg?

Reason I ask, I'm missing a similar part and MkV parts may be easier to get than No6.... Haven't been game to pull the other side off, but it looks to be a pin, cross pinned through the sight.

The sight trunnions are retained by a cross pin running through the sight legs. The trunnions themselves are a running fit in the receiver holes. These holes are easily damaged on Mark Vs and need to be hand reamed to ensure the trunnions fit.

We have plenty of the sights.
