    cleaning kit ID

Was given a cleaning kit in a tin about the size of a tabacco can that opens at both ends, has a chain drop through and a little oil container. The only marking I see is a CUX on the tin. Is this WW2 Germanicon?

Sounds like a Germanicon cleaning kit. The ones I have are dated. They continued to make these after WWII, so don't know when yours was made.

    Thumbs up

Not all WW 2 cans were dated.
Are any of the contents marked? There are 3 items that may be - chain, spoon & oiler. Is the oiler metal or bakelite?
