French MAS rear stock cartouche

Can anyone help me identify what this cartouche signifies, please?

Also, would it be found on a MAS 36 rifle? or perhaps a later model?

That’s a military acceptance stamp, it shows the year and month it was accepted into service. You’ll find it on pretty much any French military rifle model from antiques to the Mas 49/56 I believe
