Was the M95 Mannlicher Long Rifle Made Commercialy Ever?

I've had this M95 Mannlicher in 8x50 for a few years. It has no military proofs or markings that my other m95's have. Just the "k" denoting Steyr manufacture. Serial number is under 1,000 with no Letter suffix. Stock is duffel cut with no serial number.
