Someone that I know who use to work on bin lorries, once told me that when he was doing the bins, in the days of the round type of dustbin that bin-men would sling on their backs, one house on his round would fill the bin up with chicken droppings. When you slung the bin over your back, you got a pile of chicken droppings go down your shirt and back.

The bin-men, drain cleaners and cleaners have a thankless job to do but where would we be without them?

I can remember my Dad getting upset over the garbage man denting the can, so he filled it up a quarter way up with rocks.
    Never saw that can again.
