Early Model 1919A6 carrying handle
The post WW2 handle is like the Model 1918A2 BAR while the WW2 Model 1919A6 handle is different with the metal supports at each end of the handle
And cloth belt.

Got it, couldn't see this one very well, guess I can make out a front brace like a lunch box handle.

Is that a US GI? Helmet doesn't look like it.

Yes, I think so. He has the strap fastened around back of the outer and it's just the angle I think.
