This rifle was given to me by a Friend several years ago for spending a lot of hours helping him clean out the attic of his sporting goods store where this was found in a crate with several other non military long arms.
Serial number and barrel both date to 1919
Muzzle gauges to "0" with a CMPgauge
Other then armory stamps there are 2 flaming shells both with punch marks, one at the muzzle and one on the forward receiver ring.
The stock has a glossy finish with no inspector marks.
Grayish green finish
The rifle appears to be unfired. Thanks
Do I have a really nice rebuild or something else I'M missing. Other pictures can be addedInformation
