    A Really Good Day

We had a great day yesterday. A good group of people met up early in the morning to share a box of donuts and some really nice rifles. The Garandicon was of course a big hit and we were able to "ping" 4 new shooters. Definitely some happy faces and a lot of new respect for that great gun.

    what were the other rifles?
And what kind of donuts? I find my M1icon shoots better after I eat a boston creme, but my 1903s prefer plain glazed.

I refurbished this rifle for the owner. The owner before him refinished it with some distressed white antiquing finish with the action still in it. It is a beautiful gun. I actually shot it for the first time the other day and could not believe how fast and smooth the bolt was.
