    Savage No4 MK1

Hi everyone, new member,I have recently restored a Savage No4 MK1*. It required a new barrel which i had done locally, it is now a 6 row as opposed to the original 2 row.
Everything else is original except the bolt which is mismatched numerically but is spaced beautifully.
Considering it is now not completely original, i have chosen to convert it to a No4 Mk1* T.
I have a reproduction scope but i am looking for advice on the best mount and plates and where to acquire them.
There isn't much left here in Australiaicon, in fact no one has any of these old parts that i can find. Any help would be much appreciated.
This rifle is a joy to shoot and i would like to add the scope as a next level experience in using this rifle.

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Brenny, in my experience the best quality repro pads by far are those made for Fultons of Bisley. I gather they are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. They are in a different league to the pads you see commonly advertised on that internet auction site.
