    bm59 trigger group installation question

    mine is really tough to install. nowhere near as easy as an m1. any other bm59 owners care to comment?

    the height of the stock from the receiver surface to the trigger guard pad surface affects how "tight" lockup can be. measure and compare to some of your M1icon's, you might be surprised.

    its not a problem locking up the trigger guard. its hard to get the thing installed so i can lock up the guard.

    These are pics of a BM59 trig assy I got from Reese last fall. I returned it because the lugs were "egged".
    Check the wear marks in my pics to see if the match your part.

    I dont' know if an M1icon stamped guard will substitute but why fool around. If the lugs look like this they are definitely not new.

    thanks rotor. i'll take a closer look. did you just return the trigger housing group or the whole rifle?
