    Long Branch pictures

Here's a link to a picture gallery of the old Long Branch factory. They produced the No4 Mk1* and Sten guns. It's amazing how a small country like Canadaicon (about 12million during WWII) produced so many No4s. Also, Inlis produced BREN guns and Browning HiPower pistols. I've included links to both galleries for your enjoyment.

It was pretty amazing what they made alright. Those pics always make one wish they could be awash in a sea of Bren guns...brand new...

    Amazing!

I have an Inglis Hi Power No.2 Mk.1 & Long Branch No.4. Amazing to see where they were made, to think they could be in the pictures in the hands who made them.

    Thanks for sharing.

Funny how people will fuss over the buildings, but watch the businesses that used to occupy them disappear without blinking an eye.

Someone should have told the councillor quoted here that the carpetbaggers run the country, if he couldnt figure it out for himself.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
