    It shouldn't be a surprise that there were a number who fell in love with Canadaicon as well as the US and returned after the war to start a new life.

    One of my close friends was the son of a Fallschirmjäger Lt that was held in Alberta. He repatriated and then turned right back around to return. He could stand on the roof of his house and see where the old camp had been...
