    M-1 Garand Recoil Pad #B200968

Hi all. I bought this off ebay and it doesn't come close to fitting. Is there some sort of trick to getting it on or do I just need to return it? I was hoping this would work as it's supposed to be molded after the original. I use a recoil pad to increase my length of pull. Thanks.

I have one here as an example and that's all. I tried to fit one many years ago and tore it while trying. Maybe if you warm it up it'll get pliable.
    Regards, Jim
