I knew two men that walked out of Chosin, both were 18 years old. One lived next door to my grandmother, joined when the
Korean War started, his mother had to sign as he was only 17 years old. The other joined the USMC while in Boston High School
just before the Korean War. They both remembered the Chinese bugles
