Need ID on NOS stock

A friend (yes, no BS) acquired this rifle stock in a buy of misc military items. Need help to ID stock. Is an un-marked NOS rifle stock that is not a 98 Mauser, Mosin-Nagant, 39 Fin etc. Do not know if it is of military or commercial manufacture. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It's military and a Mauser of some sort. I'm betting Turkish. Brazilian might be another option.

I would say this is a stock for a Turkish Gew 1888 (Model 88/05/35). The Turks modified rifles obtained from Germany. They got rid of the barrel shroud and and made new pistol grip style stocks for them in about 1935. Salt Flat
