Our 21 year old daughter just got a Glock 22 and is all excited about it. Being almost strictly a military surplus collector and shooter it's quite an exotic looking weapon to me. She will be getting training on how to use it. She turned 21 in February and I gave her a RussianModel 95 Nagant revolver for her birthday. She was married last December and her husband whose in the National Guard and headed to Iraq shortly told her to use their income tax refund to get the Glock.
She's going to her have picture posted on My Space with her two hand guns to, as she said it, pi$$ of her liberal hippie friends! She's already taken flak for it not that it bothers her.
When I went with her initially to order it, the salesman asked if it was going to be her "duty weapon". I smiled at that one. She would probably make an impressive LEO given that she's 6'-1" and physically strong. She could also be a super model given her looks.
She's already looking at othe hand guns! I think she has my weakness for weaponry.
