    restored 1916 lithgow H barrel

I found this one some time ago.Always had a soft spot for factory converted lithgow heavy barreled target rifles! This one was in a sad state.barrel cut down, charger bridge removed, stripped receiver but had the matching bolt.Only wood left was the original H marked queensland maple butt.
Found all the proper Australianicon metal bits and a NOS british forstock.Queens land maple stock parts are hard to find.Installed another H barrel and had everthing refinished.hardest thing was installing a new charger bridge.
    Sorry lost the "before"pic

I can tell you personally, the work he put into that rifle is a true labor of love. When I bought that stuff for parts, I almost cut the receivers. Glad now that I didn't.
Eric, that rifle looks great. Considering what you started out with it's better than great.
