Friend purchased a Walther PP in .32 ACP, made roughly 1972.
My newer books have very little info for the .32 Auto.
Could really use help with any Data covering 'Any Load and Any Powder' for this.
Or a lead to the better older manuals I should find.
Currently, just to get started I have:
250 Berry's 71gr FMJ RN
100 Hornady .85 gr XTP / HP
Years back I loaded for my older Walther .32 ACP and used 231 and Tite group.
My log say's: .71 - .73 FMJ Mid range 840 - 875 cycled very well and gave it the best accuracy.
I see Accurate #2 and Accurate #5 will work for the 85 XTP's, but I have none.
I hate seeing the high pressure in the tight load window, let alone buy a pound to use ~200 grains of it.
I also don't believe the .85 XTP would have enough behind it to mushroom. Maybe better chance with the 60 gr XTP at faster speed.
So I'm planning on just loading the 85's as range plinkers. Wondering if 231 or Titegroup would push those .85's to cycle (?)Maybe a VV 320 or 310 (?)
Any other options out there ?
All info For any size FMJ's, Lead, Powders and Manuals ..... Greatly Appreciated.
While on bended knee,
May I ask if anyone uses/subscribes to the online LOADDATA.COM ?
I see they have multiple recipes for the .32 Auto including one just on the Walther PP results:
Reloading Data .32 Auto / .32 ACP in a Walther Metallic
Thanks All,Information
