Nice Clean Model 30 Japanese Canteen

Been watching these off and on for years and finally found a nice one at a reasonable price.

Several years ago I concluded that the most economical place to purchase this type of canteen was, unsurprisingly, Japanicon, and there did still seem to be a reasonable number available there.

If memory serves me correctly they (sometimes) marked the base with the grade of aluminium used?
