Question about the manufacture of 03A3 bolt

The bolt looks like a typical 03A3 bolt with large gas relief hold and rough body. The mark under the root is 42 over R. There is also a punch mark. Anyone know the manufacturer> TIA. --RBruce

Remington. Can't place the time frame, although I'd say 1942.

The "42" is the question. Indeed Remington, most folks suggest 1942 manufacture.
