RTI m91 carbines...one with tromboncino cut outs

Got these and thought it was a scope cut out but it's the cut outs fir the launcher. Wood is rough with broken pieces but it's totally unique.

Two of the three are in rougher shape with missing handguards so I suspect they are from Ethiopia though neither have definite markings. Both have hex barrels and are gardone.

The other has a matching stock that is in good shape and includes the upper. The front sight/bayo is maybe 4cm from the muzzle. There is a split along the bottom of the bayo assembly and I think they intentionally drove it down onto the barrel to secure it in place. It appears to line up with the rear sight so I suspect it is intentional.

    Finally pictures!!!!!

Two of the three are Gardones from the same year but different stamps. The third is a 91/38 that has a split along the bottom of the front sight/bayo assembly hence why the whole thing is pushed back from the muzzle a few inches.

Notice on the darkest one there are cutouts for the grenade launcher. We finally cleaned it over the weekend and it has several cracks that will need glueing to preserve it. It got the wire wheel treatment so Im presuming it came from Ethiopia. Not sure about the other Gardone with the missing chunk from the butt but odds are good. Both had liberal amounts of grease in the bores but there is still rifling in both. We havent cleaned the 91/38 yet.

Dark stock has the lever style bayonet while the other two have buttons. The 91/38 has a different front sight blade which might be routine for the 91/38 but I havent read about it being standard.

    Enough talk!!!
