I always feel bad when I see see soldiers aim guns at fellow citizen… Happened to me and I hated it. Because in your 20ies you believe in who tells you what to do and you might f…k up your life in a matter of seconds… And after you fired, no-one stands at your side…

Pretty sure Ovidio that that happens all the time in life when the sh*t hits the fan and goes down usually you turn around and see the dust clouds from everyone, no one wants to take ownership.
The hierarchy always look to hang it on someone, whilst keeping themselves squeeky clean and untouchable had it happen to me at times.
I.E Sometimes when I left the depot I was instructed on numerous occasions "Get that load out to that radius regardless don't care how you do it" or once I was told doing tilt panels "You'll be 9 tonnes over at that radius but the crane will do it".
When things did not quite go according to plan "Well we told him not to do that" because making them break a load down so the crane could safely get it there, went over the time limit costing the client more to which they complained to my bosses.
At times it also held up other clients waiting for the machine at another location.

Outcome ~ hauled over the coals at the depot!

I was commissioned in the PA National Guard shortly after Kent State. I remember discussions about issuing M16 to National Guard as they were becoming available as the Vietnam War was starting to winch down. The senior leadership had visions of Kent State with FA M16 rifles. Probably the reason we keep the M1 Rifles long after the M14icon and then the M16 was adopted. Civil Disturbances (Riot Control) requires a lot of training and discipline of the leadership and troops involved. Most of the troops in the National Guard at the time were no different than the protesters they were against as they managed to get into the Guard to avoid going to Vietnam. When I conducted training of my platoon. I strongly emphasis that the protesters were your follow citizens that you interact on a day to day basis, they are your, brother, sister, mother, and next door neighbor but just doing something stupid at the time and if you do something stupid too you will have to live with that the rest of life.
