    July 2023 American Rifleman had a really nice article "The En Bloc Clip: Don't Blame John Garandicon". I couldn't find it online, or didn't look long enough.

    The right side of the rifle above is pictured on page 73, along with his previous iterations, including clips. It was a very good read. They usually post their stories for free online after a bit of time.
