I know it is a French Nieuport Bi plane of the Lafyette Escadrille.
But what Squadron or SPA ?

Eduad has a plastic 1/48 Nieuport 17 from their "Flyboys Nieuport series" with the above insignia but no identification

I researched it. It is Hollywoodize

In the 2006 movie "Fly Boys" that double R insignia was on Rollins plane, and it stood for Rawlins Ranch because he is the Texan that the family lost their ranch to foreclosure.

The additional symbol identified the pilot in the Lafayette Escadrille. The one in the picture is not listed in the Escadrille records.
