Chinese used M1917s

I'm curious if anyone has any Chinese used M1917s here, especially the shortened ones? I've tried to do a survey of these over on gunboards and have 6 examples of the shortened rifles with another regular length M1917 but it had it's serial number scrubbed off. I'm curious if anyone here has one. I suspect there are more out there, just not very well known.

Anyways, here is my shortened one compared with a regular M1917. Has a Min Bing brand on stock showing that it was used for a time in a Chi-com militia unit. The SA over I on the stock is likely a Ishapore arsenal stamp as they are probably who converted these rifles. All the shortened ones I've seen have it.

I exported one to Europe several years ago that was purchased at auction. The only one I've ever handled. Not too common.

Weren't some of the 1917's that saw service in the philippines also shortened?

You wouldn't happen to remember the serial number to it for the survey? Was it Eddystone, Remington or Winchester? So far only Eddystones have been observed.
