    I was in Air Force ROTC at Brown in 1957... got in by memorizing the eye chart. Unfortunately, when it came time for the advanced course, they had a real eye doctor who dilated your pupils and gave you a real test... which I flunked. My dreams of being a hot shot fighter pilot were dashed.
