Did some searching and found Repro's made by Turnbull but everyone that carries them is out of stock. Their Web site says No longer available, but also says:
Temporarily out of stock. We invite you to subscribe to our newsletter for notification when more are added to our web store.

If these are in fact the style you need: Turnbull Restoration 1911 Reproduction Front Sight - Round Post - NO LONGER AVAILABLE - Turnbull Restoration

No luck on GB, but I did find a front and rear on Ebay, Price seems high. Look closely at the front sight's post if your interested to be sure it's long enough. Appears a bit short to me, but hard to tell by the pictures.

Factory Colt 1900 1902 1905 Early 1911 Half Moon Fixed Rear + Stake Front Sights | eBay

Got a weekend show to go to that has a guy with old tackle boxes of .45acp parts.
I'll keep a eye open, maybe I'll get lucky. Round Post / Half Moon..... Check !

Do you think these might work:

Listed for Colt .32 and .380

Colt M 1903-1908 front sight #4-41 » Jack First Inc. Gunsmithing Excellence Since 1954.

Reads like they make them. Might be worth calling to see if they can provide for the 1911 if the above won't work.

    Jim,
That's almost word for word what the Colt parts guy told me at the gun show early Saturday morning.

He said finding a original early round pin / Half moon would be like hitting the lottery. Added that even the reproductions may not be being made any more.
His fix would be taking the square post and knocking the corners down while twisting in emery cloth.

I'd use a fine jeweler's file while the thing is clutched in the vice upside down. Very carefully...until it fits.

Wouldn't the Sistema Colt Argentineicon 1911s have the early front sight?
