    Cartridge collecting.

A cartridge case everyone should have !

This case is from the 800mm Gustav cannon the largest ever built capable of firing a 4.8 tonne & 7 tonne projectile used in the siege of Sevastopol in WWII.
Weighed over 1,350 tonnes took a veritable army of men and flak batteries with fighter cover to operate.

For scale my wife is 5' 8" tall it is not a faker as it had the primer (Fired) present it's a whopper of a case.

    Thumbs up

So I wonder how much shipping would be? Thanks for posting. Takes the term huge to a new level. Like collecting practice bombs--you need some space.

I recall reading about the Siege, and that railroad gun struck the fortress with one shell, and it entered from the roof and exited the basement, through 8-10 floors of stone. All in all, these huge guns were a waste of manpower and materials.
