    Kongsberg M59F1 Sniper rifle

I’ve posted here as it’s Mauser ? Recently bought one in an auction, unfortunately it doesn’t have the scope, bracket or mount and is missing rear sight, if anyone has any details of these or has any bits for sale I’d be interested, ( UKicon based)
I’ll post some pics of rifle when I collect it.

Scope offset so far you'd have to use your left eye.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

Thanks Rob, seen that bit on wiki, I’d of thought there would be more info out there on them, did find it strange being an offset scope during that period.
The rear sight is missing also on the one I’ve purchased plus the fore sight has been replaced with what looks like an AJ parker one.
Be one one of them rifles I’ll have to store till bits show up. In the meantime think I can knock up some sort of side mount so I can retro fit a repro K98 scope bracket etc.
