So I was going through some old pics and came across my 1914 Mons Star and other pieces whilst looking at them I noted the recipients name on the reverse.
So when I noted it I started to thinking what would be the odds of this being a long lost relative to the Sgt Major Plumley who accompanied Hal Moore in VN.
It is not a common name so there may be a good chance if any of you are so inclined to research this name and see if there is a connection from WWI.
I have since purchased an original and numbered Old Contemptibles badge as the one pictured was un numbered so it may be a repo or an un-issued one.
Also I purchased an original rosette which I will take the what I think is a repo off the ribbon & put the original on it.
