A question for the Thompson gun enthusiasts

Merry Christmas first of all to one and all but gere's a quuestion for the Thompson SMG enthusiasts out there in Milsurps land.......

There is a famout US c.1930 painting called AMERICAN GOTHIC by Grant Wood. There is also a sort-pf parody of this painting - but a VERY good parody - of the lady, sat down on a rocking chair, with a Thompson sub machine gun across her lap, as if she is saying to someone something like'.....an' you ain't goin' to scare me none.....'

I saw it once, in a US published book about the Thompson SMG

Does anyone recognise this version of the picture? I'd like a copy for my office wall.

Thanks for reading and helping - if you can.....

Peter: Posters of this parody of Whistler's Mother were commonly seen many years ago. A quick bit of internet searching produced a digital copy of it, but the file I downloaded is 16MB, too big to attach here. If you want to send me your email address, I'd be pleased to forward it. With that file in hand, any poster shop could produce a large one for your office.

The Thompson appears to be a Colt, but oddly the gun is missing the selector lever.
