    WRA 1.06m

picked up a new WRA over the weekend. It just had that look and feel like it had not been cleaned or taken apart in about 50 years. It's not a beauty but I think it's all original. It came with an old sling that been with it forever and the seller thru in a bag he had as part of the deal which didn't come from the vet. I'm not that great with carbines so if you have any advice or would like to see more let me know. regards.

Nice, looks good. I remember when we could get those here in the pawn shops for $75 to $125CDN. We had one of each manufacture... Nice.

    Jim,

Won't embarrass you by asking how long ago that was, but I got my first carbine when I was in high school through a friend of my Dad's who didn't want to use his NRA certificate to get one for the astounding price of $20! It too was an original Winchester.

No embarrassment Terry, it had to be 1974/75 something like that.

And only about 8 years after I got mine, yet still in the Golden Age era of milsurp imports.

    Cheers!

Nice rifle. It's a beauty in my book, there is beauty in originality.
