Steyr Modelo 1912 (Chilean Mauser) And bayonet question??

Hi all! I have a Steyr Modelo 1912 (Chilean Mauser) originally in 7mm that was rechambered (?)at some point to 7.62 NATO. I have been wanting to get an original bayonet for it and I found on World of Bayonets that the correct bayo is the Knife bayonet for M1912 Mauser rifles and carbines produced for Chileicon by the Austrian firm Oesterreichsche Waffenfabrik-Gesellschaft of Steyr.
I don’t have the rifle in front of me to see if it has the original 7mm
barrel or if it was just rechambered?? Is anyone familiar with these conversions? If so, will the original bayonet still fit over the muzzle? THANKS!!!

Pretty sure they were just rechambered so the bayonet will fit. There was a second conversion that used 03a3 barrels, but I would expect the bayonets would still fit. There are no new bayonets made for the conversions which also indicates they fit.

These bayonets are among the least expensive bayonets out there so don't pay too much.

I have one Chileanicon 1912 full length rifle that was rechambered in 7.62x51 and the OEWG bayonet made for it fits perfectly.
