The Davis/Litschert scope is a good scope. It was a lower cost scope built similar to the Lyman or Unertl. It will serve you well.

The Davis/Litschert scopes work well for what they are. The fit and finish is not as nice as the Unertl, Lyman or Fecker scopes. Some of them have a poor objective adjustment where you have to loosen a set screw and slide the objective to focus the scope. Once they are focused and zeroed they work well.
Having used classic Davis, Lynman & Unertl scopes myself, I agree with the above comments.
The fit & finish of the adjustments on a Davis are not quite the ultra quility of a Unertl, ...but with that said, a Davis is still a fine quality target scope.
If you run accross one at a realistic price (and are not interested) let me know so I can buy it!
