    HEC marked barrel?

I have a 1911 barrel that is marked HEC on one side and MP on the other. Can anyone tell me who made this barrel?

    Thanks in advance.

Did you ever find out where this barrel came from? I have a barrel with the same markings.

    Thanks,
    Bryan
