    Pictures - 1950s USMC Rifle issue and rifle cleaning

    Took these pictures out of my P.I. Boot Camp Book. When on Rifle Range, each day following firing we cleaned rifles at a rack like this. When cleaning op-rod piston no type of abrasive was allowed, just had to keep rubing with a patch and some bore cleaner.
