    need new front sight base pin 1903A3

    not the pin for the actual sight, but the pin for the base, usual places zip

    Find a nail of the correct diameter, and make one from that. It works every time.

    Hey Pelago,

    The nail will probably work, but if you want something harder and straighter...your local Ace will probably have a steel pin punch the right diameter, maybe three thirty seconds? Five bucks or less maybe? Just a thought. I looked at Poppert's, sorry, no front sight base pin.

    Use the nail. A punch is way too hard and brittle. Get a finishing nail slightly bigger and spin it in a drill motor using a file to turn it to proper fit.
