    Butt Markings

Can anyone identify the 'JC' on my L42 butt ?
I assume its not 'Jesus Christ' or 'Jungle Carbine'

    Thanks in advance.

John Curtis & Son Ltd, Leeds. They made a lot of wartime No4 woodwork. "JC" can appear with or instead of their factory code of "N22".
